Our client is local to this corner of Lancashire, so when listening to their brief it was easy to feel their passion about the people that would be experiencing this offer. Being an operator of other bars and restaurants within the area, this bar needed to be something different, a sanctuary from the coastal winds, a place where friends can meet on a special occasion or just to kick start an evening of merriment. Our main focus was to detail well, and detail quality. The joinery elements that guests will make contact with had to feel elegant and high-end and fit in with the already characterful building and affluent area. The challenge was to round this off with a softness and a warmth that would appeal to a wide range of customers. Using the right balance of materials and introducing pops of colour and plush planting throughout, resulted in a very eye-catching interior.
